What's the difference between 'with modem' and 'without modem'? Print this page   We provide two main types of BT Yahoo! Broadband service - with modem, and without modem. When you purchase a 'with modem' service, we provide a modem pack with your order that contains the modem and microfilters that you will need to get your broadband connection up and running. If you purchase a 'without modem' service, we activate the broadband service on your line and you provide your own modem and filters.
